The One Ton Challenge at The Point Retreats will be an all-inclusive, immersive and invaluable experience with 3 nights and 4 days of hands on coaching focused on weight lifting techniques and drills, learning how to train and compete in weightlifting events, eat for performance and optimal strength, all while promoting personal health.
Unique to this One Ton Challenge you will have time to work with 4 of the industry’s top strength and conditioning coaches – Anders, Doug, Dr. Ben, and Dr. Mike. In between training and coaching sessions, you can listen to Dr. Ben and Dr. Mike present or lead small group discussions on topics such as; nutrition for performance, lifting for a lifetime, injury prevention, recovery strategies, improving muscle function for performance, muscle composition for disease prevention, pre-post lifting event labs/supplements, heart rate variability, and metabolic and lifting flexibility (etc).
You will also get time with our Health and Wellness Chef in the kitchen as he leads culinary classes focused on optimizing health, strength, and performance. When you are not in the log garage gym, main log lodge, or log teaching kitchen you can spend time hiking, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, sitting in the sauna, getting a massage, or simply resting on the sunny sand beach at The Point. You’re registration is all-inclusive and will cover lodging in a luxurious log cabin, 5 star meals prepared by our Chef, all expert seminars and coaching, and every activity you choose to enjoy on our property.

What is the One Ton Training Retreat?
The One Ton Training Retreat is an immersive professional strength experience specifically for those looking to improve the big 6 barbell movements of weightlifting and powerlifting.
The seminar portion of the training camp will focus on practical training, technique, programming and nutrition advice for building movement specific strength to improve your snatch, clean, jerk, squat, bench and deadlift. The experience part of this retreat will take place in The Point Retreats log garage gym followed by time for resting, recovering, and refueling!
There's no way we're letting you sit in a chair all day listening to speakers and taking notes. Rest assured you're going to be lifting while you're here! Learn it and Live it!
For those interested in lifting your way into the One Ton Club the goal for men is to total over 2000 pounds and for women to total over 1200 pounds.
